Lucas riding Lazarus
Lucas rides with the Whispers of Hope Horse team as a challenged rider.
This program is a great resource for children with special needs. Mary-Elizabeth Pierce is the director of the program and you can see her passion for working with children.
Lucas is scared of just about everything to include heights, but between Mary-Elizabeth and his handler Monica he has overcome this fear and now jumps right on the horse. He's even learned to control his horse Lazarus with no hands. We are very blessed to have found this program!
